Meet Dr. Ken Colson

It is a great privilege to be able to interact with each individual, and encourage and motivate patients toward better dental health care and general well-being. I enjoy meeting the daily challenge of striving for perfection in every procedure we do—our patients deserve nothing less!

Education and Continuing Education

  • Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry, 1995

Continuing education is the lifeblood of a dental practice. New technologies and treatment modalities are continuously being introduced to the dental practitioner, all proclaiming to be the latest and the greatest. I try to do two or three times above the required amount of continuing education each year, to ensure that our patients are receiving the best and the most predictable treatment that dentistry has to offer.

Outside the Office

I was born in Macon, Georgia. Our family moved about 20 miles south to Warner Robins in 1952, when I was approximately six months old. It’s been my home ever since. When I have free time, I enjoy reading my Bible and exercising. I am also a motorcycle enthusiast and member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

In the Community

At Crossway Community Church (Warner Robins Alliance Church), I serve as an elder and assistant treasurer. I am also on the governing board and served as a deacon for 12 years. I participate with the youth ministry in Sunday School and l am their AWANA quiz team coach. The name AWANA is derived from biblical scripture, and this global, nonprofit ministry is committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with children.

I am also a board member and volunteer dentist with Rehoboth life Care Ministries, Inc. Volunteer Dental Clinic. Our mission is to spread the love of our savior, Jesus Christ, by providing quality dental care to the uninsured and those who cannot afford such care, regardless of their race, gender, or religion. I also volunteer with the Georgia Baptist Mobile Dental Unit and Heart of Georgia Hospice.

In addition to my work here at home, I enjoy participating in mission trips abroad. My travels have taken me to Mali, West Africa, Honduras, and Guatemala.
