J. Alex Bell, Jr., DMD

Dr. Bell, a second generation dentist, joined his father in practice in 1982. His father founded the practice in 1954. Dr. Bell earned his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed advanced studies in minimally invasive dental implants.

Dr. Bell is an Associate Clinical professor at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry and has lectured and presented programs to various dental clubs. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, Central District Dental Society and the International City Study Club. He is a volunteer Dentist for the Rehobeth Life Care Ministries Volunteer Dental Clinic.

Dr. Bell is also a Certified Invisalign Preferred Provider. He is among a select group of doctors who have achieved an exceptional level of Invisalign treatment experience in case and clinical education.

He and his wife, Sandra, have three sons: Cory, Jack and Miles. Cory has his own dental lab and is married to Margaret Moore, a pediatric dentist. Jack is a senior dental student and will graduate in May 2011. Miles, the youngest son, is a first year dental student. In their spare time, Dr. Bell and his wife love to spend time with their grandson, Graham. Dr. Bell is a private pilot and enjoys flying.

Ken Colson, DMD

Dr. Ken Colson is a 1995 graduate of the Medical College of  Georgia School of Dentistry. He joined our practice in May 2001 and maintains  active membership with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Colson  volunteers his time to the Rehoboth Life Care Ministry, where he serves on the  board. He is an active member of Cross Way Community Church, loves to read  scripture and has participated in mission trips to Mali, West Africa, Honduras  and Guatemala. Outside the office, Dr. Colson is an avid motorcycle enthusiast.  He enjoys riding and is a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
